SIG Sub-Working Group : QoS

• Progress– Scope and the progress so far was presented by Ashutosh

(NIKSUN), SWG Chair.– The baseline document is planned to be converted into Tec

hnical Report on QoS.– QoS Requirements of the emerging carrier grade WLAN an

d its interworking with Cellular networks is added as new work item.

– Indian ISP’s specific requirements are expected to be address under this SWG.

• Decisions– QoS will continue to be as SWG. – All the work related to QoS in any other WG are to be addre

ss by SWG-QoS in SIG.– At some appropriate time later (on achieving critical mass) S

WG-QoS will be converted as WG-QoS.
