Getting this ppt to work/open
In newer versions of PowerPoint:
• Check for security warning above this slide saying ‘macros have been disabled’
• Click options and ‘enable this content’
• You will have to do this every time.
• In older versions of PowerPoint:
• Click Tools• Click Options• Click Security Tag• Click Macro Security• Select Medium• Completely close & re-
open PowerPoint (you won’t have to do any of that again)
The following slides all contain a ‘macro’...
• This means that the PowerPoint can mimic the effect of an interactive whiteboard on ANY projector/board.
How do I make it work?
• In ‘slideshow’ mode, click and release on the letter/object you want to move (the arrow pointer will turn into a hand) wait a minute the first time, then move the cursor and the letter/object will follow.
• Click and release again and the letter/object will stay where you have moved it to.
• Try on the letters in the next slide...
ie ngu
re-arrange the letters by clicking on them and moving to where you want to put them then click again to leave them

How can I adapt these slides?• Click on the text/letter and carefully delete
the text/letter to replace it with your own, but do not delete the actual text box.
• Change the background / insert new images/anything that you do not want to move.
• Now select SAVE AS and rename this powerpoint to whatever you want to call it. You will now have your new powerpoint with the macro in it as well as this one.
Getting the hang of it?
• If you want to have a go at creating more, read about ‘the magic powerpoint’ on Joe Dale’s blog.
• Remember – the macro is embedded in this PowerPoint so will not work by opening another ppt and trying to insert slides from this ppt into the new one; you have to create the slides in THIS ppt, delete what you don’t want and resave it using SAVE AS each time you want to create completely new content.
