1. Get a fedex.com User ID for FREE

Sign up with your account number to ship online.

Just go to fedex.com and click “Sign up/Log in” on the top right-

hand side of the page.

2. Ship with FedEx Ship ManagerTM at fedex.comPrepare shipping labels anytime, anywhere over the internet.

Just go to fedex.com and click “SHIP.”

Before getting started

A 9-digit account number is required for payer and

non-payer customers to use FedEx services. If you

do not have an account, please create one at "Open

Account" at fedex.com.

User Guide – New Version

1 - Create Shipment

Step 1

Verify the sender’s address. Click “Edit” to

modify.

The information you entered when opening

an account is shown as default.

Step 1A

Enter the recipient’s information

or select from the Address

Book.

Step 1C

Enter the email address and select the

desired language for status updates and

notifications about this shipment.

Step1D

If you need to keep other people updated

about the shipment status, you can add their

email address.

Step 1B

Click the “Save as new recipient in

address book” checkbox to store the

recipient’s address.

2 - Shipment Details

Click “SAVE DIMENSION

PROFILE” to store the

dimensions for future use.

Step 2

Enter the package details. You may select the

“Packaging”.

Step 2A

Select “Yes” if you want to

purchase a higher limit of liability for

this shipment.

(A surcharge will automatically

apply.)

Step 2B

Verify your information. Click

“Edit” to modify.

Step 2C

Select “Documents” or “Items.”

Step 2D

Enter the item description and click “Add

another item” if you have more than one item.

Click “SAVE AS NEW ITEM” to store the

commodity description for future use.

Step 2E

For shipping “Items,” an invoice is required.

Check the relevant box to create “Customs

documentation.”

Step 3A

Select “Ship Date” for today or

future shipment.

Tell us about how you would like FedEx

to get your shipment. You can

“Schedule a new pickup” or “Drop off

the package at FedEx Service Center”.

3 - Service

Step 3B

Pick the available service by

clicking on the orange button.

Click the arrow to see details.

4 - Billing and Email

Step４A

You can change the payer option for both

“Transportation” and “Duties, taxes and fees”

payments. Select payer from Sender,

Recipient and Third party and enter the

FedEx Account Number.



Step５

Tell us about how you would like FedEx to get

your shipment. You can “Schedule a new

pickup” or “Drop off the package at FedEx

Service Center.”

Confirm all the information in the Summary

and click “FINALIZE SHIPMENT.”

Step４B

Enter the email address. You can send

shipping labels by email. Please note

that at this time, this function is only available for single shipments.

5 - Summary

6 - Print Document

Step６B

Click “Print Documents” and

attach them to your package.

Step６A

Print Label (air waybill) and

Commercial Invoice.

The tracking number and pickup confirmation

number will be displayed. The pickup confirmation

number is not printed on the shipping label.
