CBF National Missions Emphasis

We are collecting contributions for National Missions, with a goal of $4,000. To date, we have collected $1,416. UBC is again designating our offering to the work of Paula Settle, CBF Associate in Nada, Kentucky. This area is one of our nation’s 20 “pockets of poverty” identified by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship over a decade ago.

Floral Committee Seeks Volunteers

Are you looking for a fun, creative way to serve at UBC? Have you ever wanted to learn more about flower arranging? You don’t have to be a professional floral arranger to join the Floral Committee. You can make an occasional flower ar-rangement and help decorate for special holidays. If you are interested in learn-ing more about this committee, contact Sarah Buchanan, Floral Committee Chair (434-409-9064 [email protected]).

Sympathy

Christian sympathy is extended to Gerald Brown and his family at the death of his brother, Tim Brown, on May 28.

Thank You

We would like to express our apprecia-tion for the food, prayers, cards, Prayer-Grams, phone calls, and visits we re-ceived following the death of my mother, Dot Walton. They have meant a lot to my family.
