“ I think this cohort has helped diminish some of the fear organizations can have

around looking at pay inequities. Many businesses may feel like they don’t know

where to start in terms of evaluating pay equity, let alone addressing it, so

having a set of recommendations is so beneficial.” —Lydia Frank, PayScale

The Business Case for Employer CircleCompanies join Employer Circle for a host of reasons: to attract and retain diverse talent; to access and learn more about best practices in the workplace; and to hear what is working for other industries and workplaces to increase equity.

Companies with 50% women in senior operating roles show 19% HIGHER return on equity on average.

Nearly even gender representation correlates to happier, more productive employees and up to 41% increased revenue.

Women influence more than 85% of retail decisions, yet a vast majority feel that businesses don’t understand them.

Increasingly, firms require diverse teams as a prerequisite for doing business.

INVESTING IN GENDER EQUITY IS GOOD FOR BUSINESS:

Better performance and higher profits correspond with teams with higher gender representation.

“ This cohort is an excellent forum to connect with other signatories, share

information and learn. I’ve enjoyed hearing from leaders across various

industries about how they are supporting women in the workplace and

pro-actively working to increase gender equality.”
