Race to the FinishThe 2012 MS Bike Tour in Watrous finished with a bang, as over 240 riders brought in more than $236,000 for the MS Society of Canada - Saskatchewan Division. This money directly impacts people living with MS, as it helps fund the best Canadian MS research and support programs for the 3,500+ people living with MS in Saskatchewan.

Congratulations to John Makris, who was again Top Provincial Fundraiser with an impressive $31,793 raised. Since 2002, John has raised a startling $228,378 for the MS Society.

This year’s Top Rookie Fundraiser is Francie Thomas, who raised $2,565.

Finally, the top team for 2012 is the Windriders, who brought in a team total of $39,464.31.

Without the help of each one of you, we would not be able to support as many families impacted by MS. I hope to see all of you at the tour next year, and encourage you to use the photos and stories in this newsletter as inspiration for your 2013 goals!

MS Fundraising ClubsIn addition to our Top 25 Fundraisers, we had a large number of riders in Club 1000+ (85), Club 2000+ (26), and Club 5000+ (6).

We also saw John Makris enter Club 30,000+ and 12 cyclists participate in the Mission Possible Club 3500 (each individual raised $1 for every person living with MS in Saskatchewan.)

Gear up for the 24th Annual Southern MS Bike Tour!

The 24th Annual Tour will once again take place in scenic Watrous, Saskatchewan. The Tour will kick-off in 2013 with an early check-in, a Friday evening social, and a start-line at 9:00 AM on Saturday!

The 2-day tour will be filled with great food, entertainment, awards, fun prizes, and -- of course -- safe cycling!

Start your pedaling for the 13th Annual Northern MS Bike Tour!

Join us on Saturday, September 14th as we head to scenic Waskesiu for the Northern MS Bike Tour. Starting at the beach, the day will feature great food, eco-challenge rest stops, awards, fun prizes, and -- of course -- safe cycling.

The Tour kicks off on Friday evening with a social and early check-in. Riders head out at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
