CITY AS CLASSROOM

Every Friday, GCE students participate in field experience—extending learning into the community—where they explore the city as a classroom.

GCE has more than 60 field experience partners. A few are listed below:

ACCREDITATION

GCE’s first class of graduates will celebrate in June 2012.

Students earn credits and diplomas that are commen-surate with and recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education.

GCE is a Premium Subscriber with NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools).

GCE is a candidate school for accreditation with NIPSA (National Independent Private School Association): The “only [association] for educators who are also entrepreneurs.”
