As a not for profit community organisation, the academy is dependent on various levels of sponsorship to be able to deliver ‘golden opportunities through sport’ for the talented sporting youth of the Gold Coast.

ENVISAGE CLOTHING has now come on board as suppoting sponsor for the new Rugby Union program. Envisage will be providing the uniforms for many of our programs over 2014.

Visit the www.goldsport.com.au website to find out how your business could capture a unique promotional opportunity through supporting the next generation of up and coming sports stars from the Gold Coast.

For any information about supporting the Academy in these ways, please contact the Chief Operating Officer or visit the website www.goldsport.com.au

Academy athletes excelled at the recent Australian Junior Championships in Victoria. Amongst the most notable achievements were Jake Duffy being awarded Australian Junior Player of the Year and Matilda Alexandersson and Benjamin Gould claiming the Under 13 Mixed Doubles Championship. This program is expertly led by Cathy and Graeme Townsend and they are clearly being rewarded for their dedication in developing Australia’s future stars through the Academy. Well done everyone.

In exciting news just released, the Academy is pleased to announce an inaugural Rugby League Girls age 13 program will commencing in early 2014. This is the first time the Academy has been able to offer this program to girls and it is hoped this will be a trail-blazer for further age group programs.

Negotiations are also underway to bring an exciting new international sport to the Academy stable in early 2014.
