Safety relays are critical components in all safety related control systems, for which the proper functioning will be of great importance in maintaining the safety performance of the safety related control system. For detailed information of component parameters and specifications, see chapter2; The installation, inspection, dismounting of the safety relay and safety related control system must always be performed by skilled persons specially trained for the task. All relevant technical instructions and regulations must be strictly observed. The proper functioning of the component rely on the proper installation; The unit need to be mounted on standardized racks. SR4P2A1B22/24 are designed for 35mm DIN rail; Transport, storage and operating conditions should all conform to EN 60068-2-6(GB/ T 2423.10); Never attempt to disassemble the unit for recovering purpose. There are no repairable or cover adjustable parts inside unit cover. All product guarantee will be invalid for parts with seal or purposely broken; Additional protection measures required for applications for output contacts with capacitive and inductive loads. Refer to component data sheet for detailed information; When permitted, the safety function must be triggered at least once a month. If this is not applicable, there need to be proper program for verifying the safety function. Feature: Relay outputs:2 safety contacts (N/O), 1 auxiliary contact (N/C); Connections for Emergency Stop Button, Safety Gate Limit Switch and Reset Button; Status indicators; Feedback control loop for monitoring of external contactors/relays possible, The relay complies with the following safety requirements; The circuit is redundant with built-in self-monitoring; The safety function remains effective in the case of a component failure; The correct opening and closing of the safety function relays is tested automatically in each on-off cycle. The safety relay SR4P2A1B22 and SR4P2A1B24 are designed capable of long terms stable work under temperature up to 55, and withstand short period excessive high temperature, but such extreme working condition will undoubtedly reduce reliability of the safety relay and many other components as well. Thus we strongly recommend adding suitable cooling fans or air conditioning apparatus to keep temperature inside electrical cabinet where the component installed below 20when there exists high capacity components that generate heats, or any other factors that may reduce the efficiency of cooling. It is also good manners to keep cabinet temperature monitored. The Safety Relays SR4P2A1B22 and SR4P2A1B24 are for used in: Emergency Stop circuits; Safety circuits according to EN 60204-1 (GB 5226.1); Fig.1 Internal wiring diagram Input circuit closed (e.g. the emergency stop button is not pressed), see Fig.2:Relay K1 and K2 energize and retain themselves. The N/O safety contacts (13-14/23-24) will be opened, the auxiliary N/C contact (31-32) will be closed. Fig.2 Input circuit is closed Fig.3 Input circuit is opened Fig.4 Automatic reset Fig.5 Manual reset To prevent a welding together of the contacts, a fuse (see technical data) will be required in the output channel anytime when there may be risk of overcurrent(including normal working conditions and any foreseeable fault conditions). Such fuse must be installed in the circuit in series without any parts in parallel. Calculate the Max.Cable length, runs Imax in the input circuit: Rlmax=Max. Instructions for component wiring: when a component is secured in the rack and ready for wiring, operator need to observe following steps: Connect the operating voltage to terminals" A1 (L+)" and" A2 (L-)". When operating Voltage 85-264V AC/DC: Connect the operating earth terminal(GND)with the ground earth. Reset circuit: Automatic reset: Bridge S33-S34; Manual reset: Connect the reset button to S33-S34. He may act following instructions below: Indicators(LED’s) There are three indicators on the safety relay, one red, marked with "Power", two green, marked with "CH1" and "CH2".
