In Mexico Creates New Dynamic For GGI

With a growing early-stage high-grade discovery in Mexico as Phase 2 drilling continues, and exciting near-term possibilities at the Grizzly in the heart of northwest B.C.’s Sheslay district, the Garibaldi Resources Corp. (GGI, TSX-V) “engine” is switching into high gear as the Venture begins a late summer surge.

The fundamentals and the technicals are telling us that GGI is ready to leap to the next level, accelerating as a leader in an anticipated strong Venture move to the upside over the coming weeks. GGI has enjoyed previous success in Mexico. What’s developing now at Rodadero has such scale to it - and grade - that it could ultimately dwarf the jackpot GGI hit with the Temoris option that was sold for a bundle to an NYSE company in 2009.

The latest drill results from the Silver Eagle target at Rodadero North in central Sonora State, and fresh sampling data released Friday, August 22, suggest this project likely has some very long legs. On the west side of Rodadero, the exceptionally shallow high-grade Silver discovery at Silver Eagle remains open in all directions but is clearly widening to the south based on results from holes SE-14-02, SE-14-03, SE-14-04 and SE-14-06.

What’s so intr iguing and potentially important is that the high Silver grades so close to surface at Silver Eagle may extend for at least 3 km to the south over the adjoining Reales target. Sampling at Reales is showing the same consistency of Silver grades as sampling did at Silver Eagle, plus increasing base metal content including high-grade lead up to 15% (1.5 to 3 km south

of SE-14-01) Keep in mind that sampling and hyperspectral data have so far accurately predicted positive drill hole results.

system changes from high-grade Silver and base metals to high-grade Gold and Silver, based on extensive sampling and hyperspectral “hot spot” signatures. Numerous targets have been outlined along a 10 km “corridor” from La Guata in the north to La Colorada in the south. This is so significant, Regoci is now referring to Rodadero as a “new mineral camp.”

If even some of the 11 targets identified so far at Rodadero can be structurally linked, as occurred to the northwest at Yamana Gold’s (YRI, TSX) Mercedes Project, now an important producer, then Garibaldi may have a company-changing new find.

In these early stages, Rodadero is looking particularly exciting due to its potential scale (70 sq. km including Rodadero South), shallowness of mineralization and impressive grades. This second phase of drilling should add immensely to the understanding of Silver Eagle and what might be driving mineralization at this and other targets.

Location, Location, Location

Rodadero is situated strategically between Yamana’s Mercedes, 140 km to the northwest, and two other producers approximately 90 km to the southeast - Agnico Eagle Mines’ (AEM, TSX) La India mine (commercial production began in February) and Alamos Gold’s

(AGI, TSX) Mulatos mine. Given the prolific nature of Sonora State’s Sierra Madre for Gold and Silver (and other metals), it wouldn’t be surprising if some bigger “fish” are k e e p i n g a c l o s e w a t c h o n developments at Rodadero. returned, would put any company’s property on quite a few radar screens. In our interview Regoci suggested that Garibaldi has received various inquiries regarding Rodadero, but would not elaborate.

on the ground has been intense and important updates from Garibaldi, Prosper Gold Corp. (PGX, TSX-V) and Doubleview Capital Corp. (DBV, TSX-V) are on the way.

GGI controls more than half of the Sheslay mineralized corridor which has all the earmarks of a world class Cu-Au porphyry system. Several years of work, including a major ramping up of those efforts over the last number of months, have brought GGI tantalizingly close to first-ever drilling at the Grizzly. They have no shortage of high-quality targets, and their drilling success in Mexico demonstrates their ability to connect on targets.

Charting a Path For GGI

There are only two measured Fib. resistance levels (upper 30's and around 60 cents) separating GGI from a powerful technical breakout and a potential new all-time high.
