Gabriel A/S is looking to recruit an innovative and experienced Key Account Manager to further strengthen our position and expand our successful business in the UK market. We are already working with the biggest suppliers of office and contract furniture globally, and we would expect our new Key Account Manager to further develop existing customer relationships as well as creating new business opportunities. Location is London and you will work closely with the existing Key Account Manager, to develop the UK market potential in the UK furniture design and manufacturing community, the reseller market and the A&D community. Key responsibilities will be • Continuous strategy and business development within the field of responsibility, including positive development of revenue and earnings. • Realize and ensure efficient implementation of the visions and objectives in the established strategy plan. • Maintain and improve relations with important business partners. • Assess and develop the established potential target customers and opportunities. • Prepare and implement own sales budget, with follow up on revenues, costs, and action plans. • Analyze the market, predict trends and find new sales opportunities. • Provide monthly reports to management on achievement of KPI’s, sales statistics, market intelligence on new projects, product launches etc. The successful applicant is an experienced sales professional. Preferably with a background from upholstery industry/related textile products, the manufacturing sector, or from direct/project sales within a contract furniture manufacturer or reseller. Applicants from the design community would also be welcome. • Has excellent business management skills, computer literate, is able to identify opportunities, allocate resources, track performance and take action to improve the financial health of the overall account. • Has experience from customer relationship management, initiating and performing marketing activities with various business partners. • Has good knowledge of the production process and the supply chain. • Has an analytical and strategic skill set. Is able to anticipate customer need and business issues, migrating upstream in the client’s strategy and decision process, and thereafter confidently structuring solutions that deliver targeted business results. • Has a clear understanding of the sales process, to deliver consistent sales performance. • Has good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within different teams.
