Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Lord, Welcome to Sacred Heart Church!

You bless us through your presence and prayerful participation as we celebrate our Eucharistic Liturgy for the Feasts of Saints Peter and Paul. May the Word proclaimed and the Eucharist we take and eat nourish us

in our quest to be Christ-like. Thanks for being with us! This weekend, I welcome Rev. Thomas P. Hunstiger, who joins us on behalf of Cross Catholic Outreach. Fr. Tom is a “retired” Priest of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, who continues to minister on behalf of the Church’s work with the poor in Africa, Asia, Central and South America. I invited Fr. Tom to visit Sacred Heart Parish as a way to broaden our sense of Church and our call to hear the “cry of the poor.” Thanks, Fr. Tom, for sharing with us the mission of Cross Catholic Outreach. On Monday, I bid farewell to Fr. Kean, as he moves to St. Mary Parish in Schwenksville. I am grateful for Fr. Kean’s presence and ministry here at Sacred Heart for the past year. Best wishes and many thanks! On Monday, in the midst of saying “goodbye,” I will welcome Rev. Michael Speziale as Resident in our Parish Rectory. Fr. Mike will be teaching at Archbishop Carroll. Welcome, Fr. Mike! As Summer begins, I extend my thanks to Mrs. Celie Magee, our School Principal, and our school staff for their dedication and care in providing a Catholic education for our Parish community. I also extend my gratitude to Sister Kate, our Director of Religious Education, and her staff of volunteers for providing a religious education program for our Parish community. We are blessed through their time and work in building up our faith community.

Peace be with you! God bless! Fr. McKee
