Pakenham Racing Club’s Event Centre is the ideal destination for your next business conference, school function, intimate gathering or even your next sporting event or large scale exhibition.

As the newest, largest facility of its type in the region, the Event Centre accommodates over 1,000 guests and is one of the most sophisticated and flexible event spaces in Melbourne’s South East.

The venue is located in Tynong, only an hour’s drive from Melbourne’s CBD and easily accessible by the Monash Freeway. The venue boasts ample free parking on site or alternatively can be reached via the V/Line regional train service.

With a rural outlook over undulating hills and featuring manicured gardens & lawns, it is the perfect location for your next occasion.

It is comprised of numerous rooms and provides a range of flexible room layouts to suit your function needs.

With captivating views of the home straight and surrounding hills, the Skyline Suite is our premium function room.

With modern décor and floor to ceiling windows, the views are simply breathtaking. This space provides plenty of natural light for hosting conferences or can be styled for the perfect backdrop to your next awards night, ceremony or graduation.

This room features column-free space that can be configured to suit any type of function or event.

The Member’s Lounge features expansive views of the racetrack complemented by a stunning terrace, ideal for engagement parties and birthday celebrations or pre-dinner drinks and canapés for larger functions hosted in another room on the night.

A unique way to host a breakfast meeting is in the Member’s Lounge whilst guests watch the morning track work unfold.

Member’s Lounge

Public Dining RoomThis reception room is ideal for large scale groups. With seating for over 220 guests, this room can be utilised on its own or combined with the Skyline Suite & Member’s Lounge for bookings wanting to seat over 600+ guests.

BoardroomFor small business meetings, there is an available boardroom that caters for 15 people. Ideal for businesses in the area that need to cater for intimate occasions.

The racecourse grounds provide a perfect setting for any outdoor event. With the ability to accommodate large crowd numbers, the venue also has a wide range of indoor and undercover areas providing adequate protection from the inclement weather.

This space is excellent for large scale events like exhibitions, markets, fairs, festivals, caravan & camping shows and product displays. Large outdoor ticketed events including family fun days or concerts are also encouraged.
