Print Drivers

The DC900/1100 is equipped with the extremelyintuitive PCL 6 and PostScript printer drivers asstandard. The printer module works seamlessly on

various industry standard operating systems withprinter drivers that are WHQL certied1.

Secure Print

This eature allows a print job to be sent to thedevice but requires the user to walk up to the deviceand enter a predened password in order to enableprinting. It also gives users the option o deleting the

job or retaining it on the hard disk drive or uturereprinting.

Tab Printing

The DC900/1100 is capable o printing onTab stocks, which can be ed to the device

through paper trays 3, 4 and 5 (BypassTray). Once printed, the interposer can thenbe utilised to insert tabs into the body o anyprint or copy jobs produced.

Favourite Print Settings

Users can save the time and eort required to

speciy the settings o regularly printed documents bysaving them as avourites on the print driver o thisdevice. These settings can range rom, paper sizes tocover/tab insertion(s), print resolution and nishingrequirements. They can be accessed quickly and easily

through the print driver as required, with numerousavourite settings capable o being stored in the driversmemory.

Light Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)

The incorporation o a high capacity toner reserve tankalso allows the device to continue producing up to awhopping 5,000 prints once the toner replacementalert has been activated. This allows plenty o time or

the administrator to prepare a replacement cartridgeand also helps maintain productivity.

Emulsion Aggregation (EA) Toner

Emulsion Aggregation is a new process, whichproduces ner toner particles, uniorm in size andshape. This enables the toner to be transerred to

the paper quickly and produces a sharper image thanconventional toners. Consequently, transeris consistent, text is clearer, coverage is more evenand image quality is higher.

As an added benet, EA Toner is also environmentally

riendly. The manuacturing process cuts CO2emissions up to 35%, toner consumption is reducedby up to 35% and toner wastage is cut by up to 65%.
