Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd is a 75-25 joint venture between FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation (Japan) and Xerox Corporation (USA) engaged in the business of developing, manufacturing and marketing world-class office and publishing equipment and systems, digital colour and monochrome multifunction devices, as well as document management software, solutions and services in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. We also manufacture digital copiers, multifunction devices and printers for worldwide distribution.
Founded in 1962 with its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, the Fuji Xerox Group currently employs more than 45,000 people globally, and has more than 80 domestic and international affiliates and sales subsidiaries. All our service engineers have undergone our regional training program in maintenance skill and product knowledge. As a result of this training, over 95% of customer service requests are resolved during just the initial visit by trained service engineers, a very high percentage for the industry.

• Our Customer Support Centre. Our MSC status ensures that customers’ queries and requests will be addressed in the most efficient manner through our Regional Technical Centre and direct service team.
On another hand, our service engineers are equipping with a smartphone that installed with field mobility application where it allows engineers to update their work status, check spare part availability and device service history anytime anywhere. After then all the data are feedback to Fuji Xerox CRM system in real time and this practice has significantly improve engineer’s work efficiency consequently it improves our response time to customer and resolution rate in repairing machine.
With over 200 direct service personnel nationwide, our customers can be assured of our attention in most timely and professional manner. We strive to reduce the environmental impact in the process of purchasing materials, manufacturing, paper procurement, sales, and logistics, as well as in the customers’ offices. We have established key requirements for suppliers, including the traceability of raw materials and the environmental management of its manufacturing plants.
Fuji Xerox has a long and proud history of protecting the environment since 1969. We believe that in all aspects of our business, our activities must be in harmony with the environment, and that by providing products, services and information that are safe and friendly to the environment. We will achieve the world’s highest level of contributions to the environmental conservation activities begun by our customers and society.
Among the main green initiatives taken are:
• Zero Landfill. Fuji Xerox believes that used products are not waste but rather valuable resources, and we have been promoting our Recycling System based on this principle. By collecting our customers’ used products and reusing or recycling them, this system aims to effectively utilize resources with the goal of achieving zero landfill.
• CO2 emissions reduction. Reduce CO2 emissions of our products’ during their life cycle in accordance with the global Fuji Xerox target of 30% reduction by 2020 against the 2005 baseline. There are zero CO2 emissions at all our production and development facilities.

Integrated Recycling System
Transition from a “Throwaway” to a “Recycling” Society
As part of our efforts to fulfill our corporate responsibility toward society by reducing the environmental impact throughout the entire lifecycle of our products, Fuji Xerox has been involved in a resource recycling system (product recycling) that considers used products not as disposable waste, but as valuable resources.
Fuji Xerox will continue working toward reducing environmental impact and developing a sustainable society. We have effectively closed the loop of our product life cycle and in doing so helped resolve a growing electronic waste problem.
Used products from our business activities in the Asia Pacific region are collected and transported to be recycled at Fuji Xerox Eco-Manufacturing Plant in Thailand - achieving our goal of “zero landfill”. Used products from Korea, Australia and New Zealand are recycled locally. We take great pride in our closed-loop system with 99.6% recycling rates for our equipment in Asia Pacific region.
By using recycled resources, we are reducing the requirement of new raw materials through parts reuse, and in some cases, increasing our profitability by remanufacturing parts.

Fuji Xerox Malaysia Sustainability Report
This report covers our sustainability impact in Malaysia. We have attempted to provide a complete overview of our operations within the established scope. Our first report was published in February 2014. We are committed to continuing our reporting journey and expect to publish a sustainability report annually.
Fuji Xerox Malaysia has presented our performance relative to the wider sustainability context both in Malaysia and in the region. With rising energy costs and onset of global warming, many businesses are now recognising the benefits of using green technology. In line with the
MyHIJAU Mark : Green Certification
In line with Malaysia government vision, Fuji Xerox Malaysia is committed to real, measurable green solution in office environments. Our green products and services have been endorsed with MyHIJAU Mark. This MyHIJAU Mark helps consumers identify products that have been verified by GreenTech Malaysia.
MyHIJAU Mark Products must meet all of the following criteria:
Promote health and/or the improvement of the
environment; and
Conserve the use of energy, water and/or other forms of
natural resources, or promote the use of renewable energy, or
be able to recycle waste material resources.
Minimise the degradation of the environment, or reduce
greenhouse emissions;
Malaysian government’s commitment and focus on sustainability, we have illustrated throughout this report our concerted effort to practise and encourage our customers to embrace green technology.
We believes that continuous engagement with our stakeholders helps us to build a deep understanding of the company and our industry. Tree Planting Programme
Fuji Xerox Malaysia is targeting to plant 20,000 mangrove trees by the year 2020. So far, we have planted more than 15,000 mangrove trees nationwide in this programme which is part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. This programme as a platform to engage the communities, employees, customers and media to increase awareness and appreciation to mother nature.
