BREAKING

NEWS !!!

Last report I said WOW - and this report is

even a bigger WOW.

The Frankston City Council (FCC) at their last

Council meeting announced that of the twelve

major projects on the table the final four which

are their priority to develop, includes the

combined Centenary Park Regional Tennis and

Gymnastics Centre, with an estimated project

cost of $27.6M. FCC have pledged $8.05M on

top of the $3M we already have from Peninsula

Health and we are negotiating with the Federal

& State Governments for a further $8.05M each.

I have reported to you earlier that we already

have architects plans and drawings and now

have full economic impact statements along

with community benefit reports to present to

Federal and State Members.

We have gone on a road trip to inspect other

major regional tennis centres to ensure ours will

be the absolute best in Victoria if not Australia.

Over the next few weeks there will be press

releases outlining the development to the

general public and we will be able to present to

you the updated drawings and plans, which I

know will impress you greatly.

We are extremely happy to be associated with

gymnastics as they are a professional and

hardworking group of people and they are a

fantastic fit for tennis with large numbers of

participants and visitors.

To follow up on my last report, don’t listen to all

those spreading rumours, the site at Centenary

Park will be bulldozed and an incredible complex

will be built.

Stick with the FRANKSTON TENNIS CLUB and

you’ll be part of a most exciting development.

TELL EVERYONE and let them be envious, they

might even join you for this fantastic journey.

TENNIS VIC 2018 PENNANT: WOMENS GRADE 4

And Kooyong LTC & Royal South Yarra are sitting

7th and 6th respectively on the ladder with only 1

an interesting season.
