DESCRIPTION
Frrresh is a magazine that features different visual artists every month. Our goal is to bring you versatile artists and their work so we will feature both Croatian artists and those from other countries. We'll try to make the presentation fresh, simple and clean while letting the authors present themselves with works they choose and text that they write, while asking them a couple of unusual questions to show them in a different, yet unseen light.

“The main thing I'm after in my works is that after I nish it I get true emotional response from the viewer. Laughter, disgust, empathy, raised eyebrow, I'm satised with whatever they give me as long as it's genuine. I want to confront them with uneasiness of being human and having human perspective to everything and see them embracing it in whatever fashionfashion they feel they need to. And there's also just the pure joy of drawing :)”

Jelena Bando
Jelena Bando is a young artist from Zagreb, currently living in Paris with a tendency to cut certain forms letting them oat somewhere between the world of abstract and almost reachable; touchable reality. She knows how to play with dimension and how to camouage it with colors and objects visibility triggering the viewers imagination, and individual approach to her works.

Auks Jedan is a street artist from Osijek, Croatia where he currently resides and works. His interest for street culture began back in 2004 and still lasts. You can see his work all throughout Croatia and its neighbouring countries and the work itself is a combination of murals, paintings, stencils and stickers.

Guilhem Monceaux isis a graphic designer from France. His main point of interest is to draw in notebooks with color pens trying to make, in his words; “simple drawings”. Besides drawing he has a big love for photography striving to have an objective view on things. Recently, he curated an exhibition together with Jelena Bando inviting youngyoung european artists to express themselves by drawing in notebooks.
