the FrontLine national Exam has three test componentssituational Judgment and Human relations Video testThe first component is the Situational Judgment and Human Relations video test. It’s a 46 question multiple-choice test that portrays situations commonly faced in law enforcement. Candidates are required to analyze situations and make quick judgments about how to respond. the situational Judgment and Human Relations video test measures:

• Critical thinking

• interrogation/investigation skills

• team orientation

• ability to restrain use of authority

• Confrontation Capacity

• ethical orientation

• ability to handle distressed situations

• Customer/Community relations skills

report Writing Video-Based testthe second component is a report writing test. Candidates must view a video scenario, answer 15 multiple-choice questions, and then write a report based on the video scenario. the report writing test assesses:

multiple-choice reading testthe third component is a multiple-choice reading test containing 30 questions based on reading materials officers must read on the job. The reading test measures:
