George Milburn, '30, was appointed a specialfeature writer for the Ilearst Newspaper chain in1934 . His book, No More Trumpets, published in1933 was rated by H. Allen Smith, United pressbook reviewer, as the best volume of short storiesof that year . Milburn is now living in Coweta.

Roller skating on the campus became so generaland noisy (luring February of 1934 that Univer-sity officials had to issue a decree against offendersof the iron rollers . Watchmen with police whistlesstopped skaters at the campus entrances and madethem travel afoot.
