The concept behind the design direction was to create a brand identity for a local skate team Frodo. From this the focus was on transfering the use the brand over a range of different products and media with the main aim to promote and distribute T-shirts and to propose a wider range of products for the future.

T-shirt Range

The main product range for Frodo is the range of T-shirts. There are various ranges of T-shirts each range with a slightly different style. The ranges are designed so that the T-shirts work individually and can be recognised within the range and by the brand.

The packaging for the T-shirts consists of a card tube designed to hold a single T-shirt for distribution. Each T-shirt comes with a laser cut Frodo clothing tag, featuring in the shape of the logotype, attached around the label in the collar. The branding is kept consistent throughout with the logo featuring on the label and on the lid as well as being used to hold the belly band together.

The website will be designed to fit the minimum screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels.

The navigation on the website is simple, with roll over menu buttons situated at the top of the page allowing the users to navigate between pages. There are links to individual products with which show larger images of each product, a description and the option to buy it.

The mailout is designed to be sent out to people and to be readily available in local stores around Leeds. It is designed to showcase some of the products and direct the audience to the website which is the point of sale.

Other products that I have proposed designs for that could be brought out in the future as the Brand expands and grows. The branding remains consistent throughout the range of other products.
