The French VOS Programme is made of 64 selected ships (1st march 2006)

6 of them are dedicated to the VOS-Clim project

- 41 are equipped with a BATOS AWS (version 1 or 2)- 2 with a Mini-BATOS AWS- 7 with a MINOS AWS- 2 are until equipped with old POMMAR stations- 12 with standard materials (6 using TurboWin)

Expected evolution for 2006/2008The « BATOS » version 3 AWS is now available for the

EUCOS-Surfmar Programme members.

The equipment of 7 ships with « BATOS 2 » and 2 ships with MINOS is expected, per year by Météo-France

Fleet expected evolution of the Météo-France selected ships for the next four years...
