Meet Our New Executive Board Members Jane Coffey lives in Edwardsville with her husband, Greg. They have a

daughter, Jennifer Warren.

Jane has been employed by TheBANK of Edwardsville Wealth

Management division for 20 years. She is a graduate of SIUE with a BA

in accountancy and a member of Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.

Jane is an active member of the Edwardsville community and is

involved in the SIUE Meridian Society, Board Member of the

Edwardsville Arts Center, Community Investment Volunteer for United Way of Greater St.

Louis, and past Board Member of the Lynne F Solon Foundation.

Carmen Cunningham is a lifelong resident of Edwardsville and is

married to John E. Cunningham. Motto: Don’t just do it, Do your best!

Carmen is a member of Mt. Joy Missionary Baptist Church where she

is currently serving as the Financial Secretary and member of the

Edwardsville Branch NAACP where she has served as Chair and Co-

Chair of the Freedom Fund Banquet Communication, Press and

Publicity Co-Chair. Carmen is retired after 27 years with the

Educational Therapy Center of Madison County. She has worked with Emotional and

Behavioral Disorders Students and is the Deputy Registrar for Madison County. Hobbies

include reading, scrapbooking and making crafts.

Janet Foehrkolb has been married to her husband, Jack, for 57 years.

Together they have 4 daughters, Julia, Jill, Jennifer and Jerri and 4

grandchildren. Janet has been a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church

for the past 50 years and has been an active church volunteer. Janet

served on the board of Friends of LeClaire in the early years and

currently serves on the Eden Villiage Board of Directors.

Meet Our New Executive Board Members John Hembruch has served as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church

Edwardsville since 2002.The church is completing a move from its

historic location to a new campus at 3601 Ridge View Rd. He helped

the church organize a mentoring program at Columbus School, which

has operated for more than a decade. He has served as President of

the Glen-Ed Ministerial Alliance and Moderator of the regional

Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy. His wife Therese is a 7th grade

teacher at Triad Middle School and is active in dance and musical theater. John holds degrees

from Princeton Theological Seminary and the University of Michigan, and currently is enrolled

in the Nonprofit Management program at UMSL.

policy of Edwardsville School District #7.

If the district is closed due to inclement

weather we will NOT be driving. Our

drivers also reserve the right to cancel if

they are not comfortable with driving conditions.

Mission Statement

Faith in Action Edwardsville/Glen Carbon is a volunteer based ecumenical organization working with

the community to provide services that support the independence and well-being of seniors. We provide

services to individuals aged 60 years and older who need help with daily living activities, including

transportation, shopping assistance, occasional respite care, companion visits, seasonal yard work and

minor home repair.
