Writing: Think about what type of milkshake you like. You will now write a Procedure (recipe) on ‘Your Amazing Milkshake’
Remember a procedure needs:
• a list of ingredients and materials
• numbered steps explaining what you need to do to make your milkshake. Each step needs to start with an action verb (Pour milk into your jar)
• diagrams showing each of the steps.
You may like to use the proforma attached to help set out your procedure.
Ask a parent if you are allowed to make your milkshake at home.

Writing – Character Profile.
Create a new character that could be introduced into your novel /Ziptales story
- Draw the character - What might their name be? - How could they change
the storyline?
- Predict what could happen if they remained in the story for the rest of
the book.
Retell the story. Who were the characters? What happened? Was there anything interesting or unusual that happened?
Writing – Who is your hero and why? Describe this person and why they are your hero. Draw a picture.

Times tables:
Play Hand Multiplication
With a partner, each place a hand in towards each other (like paper, scissors, rock). After the count of three, each person holds up an amount of fingers. You need to multiply (x) the two numbers shown on fingers together. The first to call out the correct answer gets a point. The first person to ten points wins. Play round 2, where each partner then places two hands in with higher times tables.

Using 10 of your spelling words find the area for each word.

Multiplication flowers: Start with the centre of the flower and write the number 6 in the middle. Next, draw 12 petals around the centre, labeling them 1–12. Last, draw another 12 petals and write the product (X) of the centre number and the petal adjacent to the new petal.

Create your own Alphabetical Code giving
each letter a value. e.g.

See who can get score the lowest point? Repeat – this time see who can score the highest points?

-Your sister practised her dance routine for 45 minutes. She stopped practising at 4:50pm. What time did she start practising?
