Concert Band Plans May 19 Performance
Th# concert hand will present its first annual spring concert Friday May 19, at Silft p.m.
The band, under the direction of Georgo Heatle, was well-received last month on its fifth annua county tour and at the Poly Royal concert.
"We have an excellent bund this year," - says Heatle, "It sounds trite, but our band is the best it has ever been. I’m sure everyone will enjoy the concert."
Among the featured numbers for the concert are a flute solo with band aooompanlment, a modern trombone trio and a couple of movements from the suite "Land of Wheat," featuring a bar room- type honkytonk piano,
