Digitization& the environment to boost ICT usage

“...Specifically, our analysis reveals that an increase of 10 percent in a country’s digitization score drives a 0.75 percent growth in its GDP per capita. That same 10 percent boost in digitization leads to a 1.02 percent drop in a state’s unemployment rate…”

December 2013: Local initiative in the commune of Sayada(Monastir, Tunisia) initiated by an open source community. The project includes:

An Open gov site: htttp:/www.VilledeSayadatnA local wiki with participation of inhabitants in updating the data base of an electronic guide for tourism purpose. A local Wifi network( meshsayada) provided by an equipment provider partner( Open Tech Institute From Washington, ONG working on community networks)
