• The project target area is a urban center withintense popular commerce, also hostingtouristical, historical and architecturallandmarks.

• The area has been suffering from serious urbanmobility issues and other infrastructureproblems.

Restructuring Public Parking Areas in Fortaleza

• Situation: studies in progress

• Next step of the project: public hearing

• The fleet of vehicles in Fortaleza grew 104.43% from2003 to 2013, which generated a huge parking issue,both public and private.

Project:• Connect the diferent types of transportation;

• Regulation of parking in priority areas;

• New system for public parking.

• Reduce time for citizen serving;

Project:• Construct a building for hosting the 31 public

departments of the Municipality, with capacity for6,000 servers;

• Facilities management.

Involvement in all stages concerning a Public-Private Partnership:

• Training the Government staff;

• Structuring the standard procedure to be followed by the Government for the projects;

• Structuring the stages of the project.
