Forrers Rotary Displacement Pump.
The world‘s “sweetest“ sugar pump.
Pumps n Valves n Systems
The rugged heavy duty design was developed by Forrers, a leading Queensland
pump manufacturer, back in the 1920’s. Forrers joined the KSB family in 1988.
KSB Australia is one of Australia’s leading pump manufacturers, and is part of the
global KSB group of companies.
Sugar mills around the world have adopted the KSB Forrers range as the pump of
choice for this application. The simplicity of design, and rugged construction have
proven themselves over many years. Some of the pumps supplied in the 1960’s are
still operating.
Rugged heavy duty design stands the test of time. KSB Forrers Rotary Displacement Pump.
KSB Forrers Rotary Displacement Sugar Pumps are used extensively throughout
the sugar industry for pumping massecuite, magma, molasses, syrup and other
highly viscous liquids.
2 Introduction
Application
The KSB Forrers Rotary Displacement pump is suitable for
handling highly viscous liquids and is mainly used in the
sugar industry for the following applications.
•Massecuite
•Magma
•Molasses
• Syrup
•Otherhighlyviscousliquids
Proven reliability
The pumps have also proven themselves in overseas markets
with pumps operating in sugar mills in Fiji, Hawaii,Kenya
and South East Asia. KSB Forrers production is now based
in the KSB Tottenham manufacturing plant, where units
are assembled with a variety of drives including inline foot
mountedgearmotors,inaccordancewithKSB’sISO9001
accreditation.
