TRAINING OF EGYPTIANS FORESTRY EXPERT To train seven Egyptians forestry expert in the theory and contents of a forest inventory. This included the use of a detailed map of the area (realized before the training at the FAO HQ), explanations of the sample design and the correct use of field forms with parameters like ‘Vitality’, ‘Tree Quality’, ‘Stem form’, ‘Commercial height’, ‘Damage degree’, ‘Damage type’ for single trees and general description of the stand.
TO ACHIEVE FOREST INVENTORY To obtain reliable forest data of the plantation for the development of the management plan.
