Welcome to another exciting night of Ranger Basketballand thank you for your support. As our student-athletesget set to compete on the court, I would like tocongratulate them on their hard work, and dedicationleading up to this season. It is every athlete’s goal to wineach night but the purpose of high school athletics goeswell beyond that. Through their participation our studentathletes learn life lessons and develop teamwork andloyalty that better prepare them for the challenges thatlay beyond their time spent in high school.
Welcome to tonight’s basketball game and thank youfor supporting the Forest Lake Area High School Girls’Basketball Program. The student-athletes and coacheson both sides of the court have worked very hardduring the season and off-season preparing for tonight’sgame. Each athlete’s personal commitment anddedication to become the best athlete they can be, andto play their part in making their team the best possibleteam, takes great sacrifice. Your support and encourage-ment is part of their reward. The Forest Lake SchoolCommunity takes great pride in athletic and co-curricularprograms. We know that involvement in activities outsideof the classroom builds character, teamwork, physicalstrength and endurance, and personal determination. These are attributes that will serve these students theirentire life. We appreciate the parental support necessaryto prepare the students for this level of competition. Wealso thank our community for their support of this activityand all our activities at Forest Lake High School. As wecheer throughout tonight’s contest, let’s not forget thateach student athlete is trying her absolute best. We mustplay our part in making this a quality event we can all beproud of by demonstrating sportsmanship andenthusiasm. Cheer enthusiastically and Go Rangers.
Its our goal to bring a first class experience to everyoneinvolved in tonight’s game. The time and work of theplayers, coaches and officials deserve nothing less thanour best. Please respect the game and the role each ofus plays in making this school event a success. Asfamily members and fans, you are an important part ofthe experience for everyone. The players need andappreciate all of your support. Throughout the courseof every game, there will be ordinary plays followed bygreatness, questionable calls followed by brilliance; thatis competition and what keeps us on the edge of ourseats. Please enjoy tonight’s game and appreciate theefforts of each team, their coaching staffs, and theofficials. Have fun, cheer loud and GO RANGERS!!!
Strong Alone: the strengths, the time, the commitment, the work of one. Unstoppable Together: an acknowledgment that we are at our best whenwe Band Together. This season we renew our resolve to get better everyday; play with joy; and honor the Ranger Girls Basketball tradition. Wehave been growing our skills, our basketball IQ, our team chemistry andour enthusiasm over the last weeks in order to create a game that playslike a smooth jazz groove. We've internalized the necessary patterns, training our brain and our bodies to execute difficult calculations in theblink of an eye. Envisioning rebounds and passing lanes like melodies, weoften take for granted what is involved in the game because it can bemade to look easy. But that is only because everyone involved hasworked hard. Thank you for your continued support of Ranger Basketballand all of Forest Lake Area High School's student-athletes. Together wewill make this season memorable. Go Rangers!
Welcome!
