Now you have a year around trail groomer. Not only is it a snowmobile trail groomer it’s a
sno processor. Simple as removing the gauge wheels and blade and installing the snow
compression pan.
Introducing the NEW NORTEC Snowmobile Trail Groomer/Snow Processor. Bringing technology to the snowmobile trail
grooming industry. The NORTEC Snow Processor not only grooms the trail, it processes the snow. Controlling
and processing the snow is the key to trail maintenance. Corner ridging and snow push-out a problem? Cut dangerous
corner ridging down, work the snow back onto the trail. Icing a problem? The trail cutter tooth can
cut and grind those problem areas.
Don't Drag it, Lift it. Ever wish you could just lift and go? Thanks
to NORNORNORNORTECTECTECTEC's Exclusive lift and go system, your wish has
come true. Need more traction? The Sno Processor lift and go
system helps with traction control. Just transfer the weight of
the snow processor to the power unit drive wheels!
NORNORNORNORTEC TEC TEC TEC Exclusive Air Dejection System To solidify the snow you need to remove the air, leaving processed snow
that you can build a good trail with. It all starts with the snow.
Choose the rotor that’s right for you. NORTEC NORTEC NORTEC NORTEC offers two rotors to meet your needs and trail conditions.
Snow Processor
The milling rotor is less aggressive and easy to operate. This snow
base saving rotor is gentle on the trail snow/ice base, and also very
operator friendly. The processing rotor is very aggressive! This
berm cutting rotor will cut and grind hard pack snow and ice.
Choosing or changing rotors for the conditions is a key step in
proper trail grooming worn out snow with fresh vibrant snow
makes the ultimate snow trail/road.

The NORNORNORNORTEC TEC TEC TEC Difference! Performance Through Design
Pre-Season Trail Maintenance
It all starts with pre-season trail maintenance. If bumps, moguls, rocks and debris are
there at the beginning of the season, it will only worsen as the season goes on. Filling in
that low spot with snow just doesn't work! Cutting the bumps/moguls out does. Open
up your trails ahead of schedule. Have a problem with farm fields and open areas?
Here's your answer - grind and pulverize those dirt clumps. Lay down a smooth and
processed trail base.
Testing has shown hot spots are the biggest
enemy of the trail. What's a hot spot? A hot
spot is when the sun warms up a dark object
like dirt, gravel, rocks, wood etc. The dark
object heats up and burns a hole in the trail.
It's like a cancer, there's no stopping
it. In just a day or so, its all over - shut the
trail down. Using the Sno Processor will
slow down this process.
Start with millingmillingmillingmilling the surface, cutting the humps, bumps and moguls.
CollectingCollectingCollectingCollecting the milled snow along with new snow. Process Process Process Process the worn out
milled snow, mixing/processing it in with new snow. Processing the snow
through the snow processor removes the air and changes the snow snow snow snow

a smooth snow base. Build your snow base in layers. This is referred to as
lamination, creating a strong, durable snow basesnow basesnow basesnow base . Compress the snow with
the adjustable compression pancompression pancompression pancompression pan with variable snow intake. Using the
weight transfer system, taking weight from the power unit and transferring
the weight to the compression pan with up to 10,000 lbs of compression
weight. Now the snow has only one place to go - out the back of the
compression pan. Finish off the process by vibratingvibratingvibratingvibrating the snow onto the
trail surface.

It’s a fact, vibration has been used in the construction
industry for years. Vibrating the material into the surface really
works. In snow processing, this is the final process in proper
trail grooming. This is also one more step in achieving faster
snow setup time.
