Welcome to Evesham Country Park

Enjoy a great day out in a relaxed countryside setting where you’ll discover an extensive garden centre, farm shop, courtyard shops, restaurant, miniature railway and animal sanctuary - all within a five minute drive from Evesham town centre.

Once you have finished shopping, stroll around the 130 acre estate which has some of the most picturesque scenery the Vale of Evesham has to offer, including a mile and a half of the River Avon.

There is plenty of free parking and we’re open seven days a week.

Having been open for just over two years Millets Farm Shop at Evesham Country Park has worked hard to develop all the same exceptional qualities as its flagship store at Frilford in Oxfordshire.

Their priority is to grow or make their own products or to source from local and British producers wherever possible. The fresh fruit and vegetable department at the very heart of the shop is complemented perfectly by the sumptuously stocked bakery, extensive delicatessen and butchery from Hillworth Farm Meats. Hillworth Farm in the Malvern Hills is home to all the beef, lamb and pork sold in our counter. The animals lead a natural life and are allowed to grow and mature slowly. There are no growth promoters or artificial feed additives which results in true, honest, unspoilt meat that reflects the timeless values of the countryside. Hillworth Farm meat is well hung, making it both flavorsome and tender. In addition to this we have found delicious, handmade locally produced Pork and Meat Pies from The Cotswold Pie Company, Evesham.

Whatever your appetite - large or small - the Applebarn Restaurant is sure to tempt you as it offers an extensive self-service menu. Choose from a delicious carvery or freshly-made sandwiches, a wide selection of homemade cakes and desserts as well as hot and cold drinks. The special boards change daily so there’s always something new to try and taste.

There is a large outdoor seating area so if the weather allows why not treat yourself at the ice-cream parlour?

The Applebarn restaurant can cater for groups, so if you’re celebrating a special occasion or just getting together, give us a call. Menus can be tailored to suit your requirements.

Family attractions

Evesham Country Park is the perfect day out with Evesham Vale Light Railway and The Ark Animal Sanctuary.

Evesham Vale Light Railway trains are steam hauled and travel for over a mile through the old apple orchards and around the country park, stopping briefly at Evesham Vale Station. Here you can take a break from your journey to have a picnic, walk to the River Avon or just enjoy the views overlooking the Vale of Evesham.

The Ark Animal Sanctuary offers a great animal experience for the whole family. It is home to a wide variety of British and world wildlife, including otters, foxes, meerkats, racoons, Scottish wild cats, along with a variety of reptiles, rare breed sheep and other farm animals.
