Camping & Barbeque

From Thursday10th to Saturday 12th July 2014

One-to-One Enfield camped at the Young Mariners base in Chesunt. Some members and staff came to help setup the tents. As it was also Volunteers Week I was invited to the Barbeque Evening. Barbeque started around 5pm on Friday. Many other Volunteers joined us.

I enjoyed the food, Burgers, sausages and salads were delicious. Nice music was played and people were dancing and enjoying. It was a great atmosphere with relaxing natural views of the trees, river and the geese.

Although I didn’t camp, others members told me all about their Camping experience.

Some members also did canoeing which they very much enjoyed.

Spending sometime out with everyone was very nice. I look forward to the next years event.

I want to do an up date on my lovely little girl Hannah, shes doing so well shes started walking unaded and starting to speak more. Shes such a happy little thing. She has also started mainstream school, which she has one to one support she really enjoys being there, and she's doing well, and I'm so proud of her. Hannah's trying to be more inderpendent, but me and my husband stil have to do a lot for her, since shes a child with spechale needs. she has actchived alot over the years, and with me with mild lurning difficulties I understand her more. Its not easy being a parent but I love the job, I love being Hannahs Mum and to her big sister, keep up the good work Hannah. It just shows that just because, you have got a lurning difficulty, you can't do what you want. because you can.
