Lean management method is applied and it is an
integral part of our reality. Moreover, a special attention
is paid to optimization of costs and delivery, always
continuing to offer the best quality.
We are aware that welding is a very special and critical
process, requiring specific qualifications with a strong
impact both on machine and on other’s people safety.
ECOR Research core business is welding and all its related
special processes on titanium alloys, stainless steel and
special alloys. Welding technologies used are GTAW, GMAW,
micro PAW and Laser YAG Welding.
High Vacuum brazing, heat treating and surface treatments
(i.e. pickling, passivation, electro-polishing and thermal
spraying coatings - HVOF) are available to improve the
performance of the manufactured parts (i.e. mechanical
properties, tribocorrosion resistance).
Dimensional controls and Non-Destructive Testing are used
to assess the compliance of the complete items. X-ray, Dye
Penetrant and video-endoscope inspection are some of the
technologies available internally; however ECOR Research
can also manage external labs activities.
