Future Activities

2015-2016

In 2016, we are aiming to organize the following activities:

July 2016: After the successful first edition of 2015 we aim to organize a second edition of the

scientific summer camp. In this year we aim to extend the number of participants to 35 and

involve different scientific communities like the Tunisian Society of Astronomy and the

national organization of Youth and Science.

We will focus on two major fields: astronomy and optical demonstrations. We will coordinate

with the society of Astronomy in Tunisia to give courses on planets and provide telescopes to

observe the sky at night. The members will perform the demonstrations and organize a

competition of optical design between participants.

October 2016: Hands on activity in Sfax pioneer secondary school.

November 2016: Visiting Lecturer

Invitation of Professor Vasudevan Lakshminarayanan from the University of Waterloo.
