FVRMA MISSION STATEMENT

The Florida Vacation Rental Managers Association (FVRMA) exists to serve as a vehicle to increase public

awareness of vacation rental lodging and enhance members’ business through education, professional

standards, marketing, political involvement, and industry networking. FVRMA provides a consolidated voice

representing members on regulatory and other issues vital to survival in the vacation rental business.

Negotiated with Division of Hotels and Restaurants to exempt certain unnecessary & burdensome requirements for resort homes and condos: i.e., posting rates in units, sanitizing housewares, public bathroom regulation, and paperwork filing rates.


FVRMA Has Had an Impact:

A major participant in the 2001 Polk County Lawsuit which would have eliminated short term rentals in single family neighborhoods citing them as “commercial enterprises.”

FVRMA acted with a collective industry voice, legal representation and funding.

The result: FVRMA assisted in protecting your ability to represent these properties!


FVRMA continues to provide:
