POWER BATS SHOW UP » FSU has 29 home runs this season, with 22

coming in the past 14 games. The Noles hit a season high four home runs at No. 2 Florida on March 13.

» FSU hit three home runs in the first two innings against JU (4/4), the fourth time this year FSU had at least three HR in a game.

» Before the current power barrage, FSU had just seven home runs in the first 16 games of the year.

» Last season, FSU did not have a four-home run game until the Super Regional final against Sam Houston State.

NOLES PUT TOGETHER GOOD AT-BATS » As a team, FSU struck out just eight times in

the three-game series against Notre Dame, including just once on Friday night.

» It was the first time since April 1, 2016 that FSU batters recorded just one strikeout against an ACC opponent (Boston College).

» The eight strikeouts in the series were FSU’s fewest since tallying seven strikeouts in three games against Villanova March 1-3, 2013.

NOLES HOT START » FSU’s 14-0 record to start the season was the

fourth-best in school history, trailing only open-ing stretches in 1975, 2007 and 2013.

» FSU’s 14-game winning streak was the longest at any point in the season since the 16-0 start in 2013.

This season, Florida State unveiled a new cream-color uniform combination. The Semi-noles now have eight different jersey tops and

five different pairs of pants.

The most famous of these uniforms, the Sun-day Golds, are worn during home games played on Sundays. Over the past 10 seasons, since 2009, FSU is 74-10 in the uniforms, including perfect records in 2010 (10-0) and 2012 (11-0).
