We need you to pay your fair share!
New York needsJOBS for the unemployed, CRITICAL PROGRAMS in
our
communities, and PUBLIC SCHOOLS where our children can get a
quality education
** Allowing the surcharge on the wealthiest 3% of New Yorkers to
expire,will cost $5 billion in lost revenue over the next 2 years.
**
A small group of New Yorkers have gotten tax break after tax
break in recent decades, while the rest have fallen behind!The
stateswealthiest 1% now control 35% of the states income. The vast
majority
of New Yorkers support higher tax rates for the super-rich over
cutting essential services
like education, transit and health care. Yet the Governors
proposals property tax caps,
service cuts, and tax breaks for the wealthy will only deepen
the states inequality,
worsen the jobs crisis, and send Main Street economies
tanking.

assistance, low-wage workers, homeless or formerly homeless,

individuals, and disabled veterans.
We are fighting for our survival. We are NOT special
interests.
