Getting HereBY AIR

The North of Ireland is served by flights into City of Derry Airport, Belfast International Airport and Belfast City Airport. Scheduled air services operate from nearly all major UK airports. There are many direct flights from major European cities. Major airlines operate scheduled services from the US and Canada to Belfast International Airport via UK and Republic of Ireland airports. Additionally, there are charter flights direct from New York and Toronto to Belfast.

BY BOAT

We have first-class ferry connections with Scotland, England and the Isle of Man. New, high-speed vessels, enhanced on-board amenities, entertainment and shopping, together with lower prices, make the car ferry a very attractive way to go.

BY TRAIN

Currently there are nine return Monday to Friday train services to and from Doire, operating a 2 hourly service from 06.38am until 11.28pm, connecting Coleraine, Ballymoney, Ballymena, Antrim and Belfast.

BY BUS

Translink services operate on the following routes:

Regional bus services operate to and from Coleraine, Limavady, Dungiven and Strabane each day.The Goldline Express services Belfast, Coleraine, Omagh, Dungannon, Dublin Airport and Dublin City each day.

The City of Derry Airport Service operates between City of Derry Airport and Derry City Centre each day.

Are you into Irish Dancing? In this workshop we shall take Irish Dancing and work on mixing it with contemporary choreography and movement. This class will be taught Keira Martin, a renowned UK-based choreographer and dancer, and will start with a basic contemporary dance warm-up before moving on to a creative approach to mixing Irish dancing with contemporary moves. There are a number of age-related workshops available that are suitable for groups aged between 9-14yrs, 15-20yrs and anyone working within contemporary dance.

Doire 2013 and this will be a great opportunity to

15 August during Fleadh Cheoil. Also the venue will

be host competitions and entertainment over the

weekend. St Columb’s Hall was built in 1886, this

heart of the city next to Derry’s historic city walls. The

building was previously owned by the Catholic Church

and under the new ownership of The Garvan O’Doherty

Group this historic listed building will under go major

refurbishment to cover the space into a multi-purpose
