Service A: Legal Support Retainer In exchange for a termly fixed fee paid in advance you

will receive the Company Support Retainer (Service C)

PLUS a full Legal Support Service which comprises:

� education provision (including SEN, equality

issues and pupil behaviour) and all other pupil,

pastoral and parent issues � health and safety � school property � relationships with commercial providers, contracts

and procurement � relations with local and national government

� No limit on the number of matters you need help with.

� 5% discount on our hourly rates when dealing

with matters which cannot be resolved under the

fixed fee service.

� 50% discount on Stone King training seminars.

� Monthly email briefing with direct access to the author

to discuss legal developments.

� Access to the Stone King school policy building tools

and templates.

Service B: Human Resources Retainer The Human Resources Retainer includes:

� Telephone and email HR advice for the Senior

Leadership Team and Governors.

� Advice on STPCD, Burgundy Book, Green Book and

other collective agreements.

� Guidance on individual contractual terms.

� Recommendations on policies and procedures.

� Support with consultations when introducing or changing

policies.

� Assisting you to manage the customary aspects of

individual cases (e.g. redundancy, disciplinary,

capability, ill health and grievance).

We provide a completelyindependent alternative toLocal Authority legal serviceswhich are often restricted by a conflict of interestbetween the needs ofindividual schools and theneeds of their LocalAuthority

� Advice with advertising new roles, the interviewing

process and references.

� Absence management.

� Exit interviews.



Service C: Company Support Retainer Legal support in understanding your responsibilities

of being a company for a small termly fixed fee paid

in advance. This is included as a standard service within

our Legal Support Retainer (Service A) to include:

� Providing you with a support pack which contains

guidance notes and precedents.

� Providing an initial company health check.

� Providing ongoing company support and advice.

� 50% discount on Stone King training seminars

(including our regular seminar for company

secretaries).

Insurance Insurance can be added to any of our services to cover the

School against any compensation claims and legal fees. This

additional package will include:

� Depending on the policy terms entered into, cover can be

obtained for adverse Tribunal Awards.

� We will not receive commission or payment from the insurer.

� We work closely with insurers who trust us to manage matters

with you appropriately and without undue interference.

� The premium is dependent upon staff numbers, payroll

and claims history.

� We will obtain the necessary information from you to provide

you with a quote.
