Our team still needs members to travel to Quesimpuco, Bolivia this summer (July 21-31) for mission work. Don't let money hold you back - we will help with fundraising. Questions? Interested? Contact Pastor Jason([email protected]) or Pastor Jannette ([email protected]) or call the church office.
Sponsor a summer missionary from FUMC! Be a part of our summer missional efforts, even if you
can't travel. Full or partial sponsors are needed to help

FUMC Temple, Thank you church family! In January I became a certified candidate for ministry in the UMC and since then my fiancé, Laura, and I have decided to move to Durham, NC. Starting in the fall I will attend Duke Divinity School to further my education in ministry. Thank you for supporting me with a scholarship to make my attendance possible. It is empowering to know I have your full support and I am extremely grateful for this church. Thank you for the generous gift and support. Sincerely, Eddie Kahler
Thank you Bill & Perry Smith for your

SANCTUARY CELEBRATION - In the months ahead
leading up to the one hundredth anniversary of our present sanctu-
ary, the Weekly Word will be sharing a series of events which led to
the present-day building of worship. The Building Committee, under the contagion of Reverend Robert P. Shuler, inspected church buildings and gathered the most advanced ideas in church planning. After this tour of churches, Committee Chairperson A. F. Bentley presented a plan of a church being built in a northern city. The Committee accepted the plan and delivered it to Sanguinet & Staats, architects in Fort Worth, to be worked out to fit our building site over the ruins of the burned sanctuary.
