Join Happy Wanderers for Lunch Wednesday, April 17, the Happy Wanderers will go to the Black Bear Cafe in St.
Charles for lunch. We’ll meet at church at 11:00 a.m. and carpool to the cafe. Please
reach Gloria Mills (314-739-0791) or Shirley Cantriel (314-838-9123) by Sun, April 14, if
you would like to join us.
Team Jesus is Back! Attention all kids through 5th graders! Join us for Team Jesus beginning Sunday,
April 14. We meet from 4pm to 5pm and do some singing, playing in the gym, having
fun, and of course snack time! We will also meet April 28, and May 5, then help to
lead worship on Mother's day (May 12th) at both services. For more info, see Loretta.
Easter Bags for New Life Center We're collecting the following items for our friends at New Life Center, down the hill
from church: gift bags (5x8), small stuffed animals and nail files ( Emery boards). We
will add these to the items we already have. Bring items to church and place them
under the mission bulletin board by April 20th. These treats make the residents very
happy. Thank you for your contributions.
Joint Ministry Agreement with John Calvin Presbyterian Church
The Administrative Council is exploring an arrangement to share our facility with John
Calvin Presbyterian Church for the mutual benefit and expanded ministry capabilities
of both churches. This agreement is in it’s very early discovery phase.
We will be hosting informational sessions to provide more information to the congre-
gation and allow you to ask questions and provide input.

Easter Egg Hunt Promises Fun for All All are welcome at the Pancake Breakfast & Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 20th, at 9:00
am in Fellowship Hall. Come and share a delicious breakfast, enjoy a re-telling of the Easter
story, and join in the egg hunt for kids through 5th grade. Remember to bring a basket for
collecting your eggs! There will also be a special visit by the Easter Bunny. The event is
FREE for everyone. Bring a friend! Bring a neighbor! Bring your grandkids! See you there!
One More Thing… We’re collecting Easter candy to go in the eggs for the Saturday morning egg hunt! Please
place your donations in the collection box in Great Hall. Please, no peanut butter or Christ-
mas/Halloween candy!
J.A.M. is Coming! We’re beginning to make our summer plans here at Arlington, despite the fact that spring
has only just barely arrived! Our summer children’s program, J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) will be in
June, each Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Please be on the lookout for more infor-
mation and sign-up opportunities in the near future.
Hope Against Hunger Collection For all of April, Community Helping Ministry is collecting donations of money and canned
goods for Hope Against Hunger. Your donation will go to hungry families all over the Saint
Louis area.
Recycling Updates We have containers for Plastic lids and for dried markers/highlighters in the Mission Ar-
ea. There is also a Plastic Lids container by the Daycare Recycling containers. If you have
any questions, please ask Sue Daniel.
Graduation Sunday Youth or adults in the Arlington Church family who are graduating from high school, tech
school, college, or graduate school this year are asked to contact the church office, 314-739-
0434, ext. 110, by Monday, May 13th. We will need the graduate’s name, school, and de-
gree obtained. Graduates will be recognized during the worship service on Sunday, May
19th. For those Arlington members graduating, please join the Education and Higher Edu-
cation committees as they provide breakfast for you and your family at 9:00 am in Fellow-
ship Hall on May 19th.
Large print bulletins, assisted listening devices, and wheelchairs are available
from the ushers.
Coffee and doughnuts are available on Sunday mornings between services.
Help us go green! Please avoid using Styrofoam cups on Sundays. Ceramic mugs are available to borrow on the bottom row
of the mug board in the Parlor.
