First let’s discuss what is Natural. People laughed years ago when Cher said that she thought that Mount
Rushmore was a natural formation. To most of us it is obvious that people carved out the faces. Cher
thought the natural forces of wind, rain, and sun did the carving. And some people laughed at her for
her not seeing the “Hand of Man”. It can be funny when someone cannot tell the difference.
When it comes to herbs and Naturopathy we need to clarify what we mean by natural. Herbs need to be
picked, cleaned, sometimes, dried, cooked, or made into a solute. Mankind is preparing nature for
better nutrition, convenience and flavor. Farming of nature’s bounty is needed to increase the bounty.
This all takes the “Hand of Man”. A bowl of rice does not occur in nature. And nature has few pill or
capsule trees. So when do we say the “Hand of Man” is interfering not harming the product????
Well by law when a patent has been given a product, it is a sign that there is the “Hand of Man”. A
patent can only be given when there is proof that the “Hand of Man” in fact the “Hand of a Man” who
gets the product or process patented. This is now called a synthetic process. Or as I spell it SINthetic.
Now the item is made in a totally different way that has not occurred in nature anywhere before as
proven to the law to get a patent. The patent is mostly done to make profit by controlling the market for
19 years before it becomes public domain. When Mary Elizabeth first made SINthetic Insulin it was only
3% effective. OMG 3%, means it was not really active at all. But they found they could make money
using it. A vast industry of patented medicines using SINthetic products to make money was founded.
It is a pharmacological law that a SINthetic anything is an insult to the body. To understand this further

Some of us do not want to insult the body and get side effects. Some of us want natural medicines and
natural therapies not SINthetic. This is a basis for naturopathy. And we need to have this in as safe,
professional and effective process as possible so we need our suppliers to do evidence testing. We still
require any sales person to validate their claims as required by law, but we want more natural medicine.
We have to freedom to choose and we do not want SINthetic medications shoved down our throats.
People want more Natural Medicine. They now are beginning to see the risks of
SINthetic medicine and they see how the SINthetic Chemical Cartel has taken
control of doctors who only know how to write prescriptions for SINthetic
medicine. Some people want more safety and the wellbeing of Naturopathy.
A good Naturopath will spend time to be HOLISTIC and look at the LIFESTYLE,
RISKS, AGGRAVATIONS, SYMPTOMS, and body WELLNESS. A good Naturopath
works with the medical community and knows how to teach the patient to use
natural medicine and lifestyle. And a good Naturopath knows when to send the
patient to the medical doctor for more harsh therapies.
Patent medicine has led to profits. These profits are used to do studies. But there are many
good studies done on natural, homeopathic, and energetic medicine. It takes a disciplined
and professional mind to find and discern the good from the bad studies. There are scientific,
medical, clinical, spiritual, social, secular and legal issues to analyze and investigate to bring
to the student. You need to have a professional faculty well experienced with all of these
issues and more.
There are many charlatans and frauds selling untested, unverified, non-registered devices and
