First IMPERATOR Fundraising Event is a
Success
Imperators Author Donates Proceeds of Memorial Day Weekend Signing
Event to TAPS, the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors of the fallen menand women of the US Military.
Philip Katz, the author of the historical adventure novel IMPERATOR, that chronicles the
exploits of Young Julius Caesar, held a private release party on Friday Night May 27, 2011 to
mark the release of the Paperback release.
The event billed as ³The Official Bonfire, Book Bash and Literary Rager´ was actually a book
signing and passages from the novel were read to guests after a Feast and Numerous Libations.
³Everyone had a good time and I sold some signed books for a good cause. I was pleasedconsidering it was our first event.´ Katz said of the fundraiser where $ 160 was raised for TAPS.
Katz guest list included friends, old and new, family, and of course the ³Imperator Team´ was
there with the notable exception of the publisher Wilfried Voss, president of Copperhill Media
who was celebrating his son¶s birthday at home in Massachusetts.
