Fire Up the Coffee Maker! Health Benefits of Drinking Coffee
There are a few studies about the health benefits of coffee. Now, not all of them are conclusive,
but they do indicate that there are health benefits related with drinking coffee. Here are some
things known about Cuisinart SS-700:
Drinking coffee has been shown in independent studies to reduce the risk of Parkinson’s Disease
by almost 80%. Cuisinart SS-700 coffee maker, the more you drink, the less your risk. Besides
reducing the risk of Parkinson’s disease, coffee has positive effects on regular activities like
concentration, alertness, body endurance and male fertility. Some say this is because of how
caffeine affects receptors in the brain… and enhances energy uptake.
Of all the diseases that coffee can affect, type 2 diabetes is at the top of the list. Studies have
consistently shown that drinking coffee lowers the risk of type two diabetes. Apparently, the more
caffeine, the better the results. Some studies suggest that men benefit more then women. Men who
drink six or more cups of coffee from the Cuisinart SS-700 a day cut their risk of diabetes in half
while women who drank the same amount cut their risk to 30%.
Similar other caffeinated drinks like green tea, coffee is a good source of antioxidants. Green
coffee beans contains about 1,000 antioxidants and increases during the brewing process.
Roasting also creates a set of compounds that are beneficial to health. Interestingly, these
compounds of the Cuisinart SS-700 are unique only to coffee. What many don’t know is that
coffee contains more antioxidants than cocoa, red wine, and 4 times more than green tea! Just one
or two cups of coffee a day can do the trick, and it doesn’t even matter whether it’s caffeinated or
not.
There was a recent piece of Cuisinart SS-700 review that came out saying that the previously
thought neurological benefits of coffee are no longer true, but other research continues on the
benefits of coffee including reduction of asthma attacks, cuts the risk of liver cirrhosis, reduces
the risk of colon cancer, reduces headaches, prevents tooth cavities and even offsets the damage
of heavy alcohol intake and smoking.
