Finding NemoFinding NemoFinding NemoFinding Nemo Finding Nemo is a movie about the
adventures of a young fish. It was Nemo’s
first day of school. The students at the school went on a field trip to a place
called “the drop-off.” Watch the video clip and then answer the questions
aloud with a partner using past tense modals.
Partner A: What did Nemo have to do?
Partner B: He had to stay close to the teacher.

� What shouldn’t the students have done during the field trip?
� What could have happened when Nemo swam into the deep water, away
from the drop-off?
