Impact Lives: WHO WE ARE

• ImpactLives is a model of social innovation designed as a tool to train groups, individuals, and organizations on how to become catalysts and change agents in communities around the world.

• Our model teaches participants how to function effectively in multicultural and cross-cultural settings and promote lasting transformation that will lead to intentionally engaged lives.

• ImpactLives utilizes a unique service learning and immersive cross-cultural leadership experience, which combines servant leadership training with humanitarian and social outreach works. The experience teaches participants how to create transformative impact across social and cultural boundaries.

Impact Lives: OUR MISSION

• Founded July 6, 2007, ImpactLives, Inc. is a 501(c) (3)

non-profit organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

ImpactLives has created a national and international dual model of transformational leadership and intentional engagement.

This model helps participants identify and understand their unique gifts and talents. Participants are provided with training to help them use these gifts in the service of others, whether in their own community or around the world.

Impact Lives: HOW WE WORK

• ImpactLives facilitates transformation in communities and people through leadership identification, immersive cross-cultural training, and short-term humanitarian efforts.

• Transformation occurs in communities around the world where we help people meet basic human needs: food,

clean water, shelter, medical services, and education.

 • Transformation occurs in individuals who

participate by volunteering, through experiences that promote self-awareness, through cross-cultural training, leadership experiences, and --most of all-- the opportunity to find meaning and significance.

Impact Lives: WHAT WE DO

ImpactLives provides leadership and cross-cultural training for emergency aid volunteers, while conducting short-term humanitarian efforts to people in the U.S. and all over the world.

Impact Lives also packs and delivers scientifically-formulated, ready to make, packaged meals that contain rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and added nutrients: meals that can bring people on the verge of death from starvation more rapidly back to a state of health than any other prepared meal…and it’s easily prepared with existing resources, by cooking and steaming, just like rice.

IMPACT LIVES:OUR VISION IS TO CHANGE LIVES

• Impact Lives has the ability to reach communities too large, too small, or too distant for larger non-profit organizations. Our focus on short-term humanitarian efforts includes connecting isolated communities with ongoing resources.

• Impact Lives includes cross-cultural training for participants who work and travel with our international partners, and the communities we serve all over the world.

• Our goal is to help people overcome the obstacles of poverty and starvation…by bringing food, water, medical supplies, education and training: community by community, also bringing hope and renewal.

Page 8: Final Version Impact Lives Partner Marketing May 7 2010

• Impact Lives brings much more than nutritious meals to people all over the world who suffer the effects of poverty, starvation and isolation. Our educational outreach includes training staff in the languages, values and ideas of the cultures we reach .

• Impact Lives brings trained teachers and professionals able to truly make a difference in the communities we serve, all over the world…as our motto says, “one life at time.”

Our Approach:

Impact Lives trains and equips people and organizations locally and worldwide with the tools they need to create transformative relationships… across social and cultural boundaries.

We achieve these objectives through:

 1. Using learned skills to improve the impact of local, national or global short-term humanitarian efforts by facilitating strategic partnerships between existing organizations, and:

2. Facilitating long-term cross-cultural agents to provide the impoverished with food, water, shelter, essential medical care, education, leadership training and mentorship programs.
