• What is the Leader’s Toolkit?– An online repository for important resources, tools and documents necessary to

ensure that QEP leaders are successful

Vision

• To create a website for leaders with resources, tools and documents related to HR.

• Phase 2 of the project will expand the website to include other, non-HR specific leader resources.

Scope

• Develop a “project plan”

• Identify our needs

• Conduct interviews (HR, Corporate and Field Leaders)

• Evaluate and update existing resources

• Identify and develop new resources

• Design website and develop additional resources

• I organized and created an online central repository for leaders with resources, tools and documents that fits the need of QEP’s leaders and well equips them with their roles and responsibilities

• My design and development efforts have created a user friendly website with straightforward navigation and a consistent layout that eliminates confusion

NEXT STEPS

We hope to expand the Leader’s Toolkit over time by adding resources, tools and documents as needed and requested by QEP Leaders

Launch Leader’s Toolkit as part of the new Lateral rollout

LESSONS LEARNED

• Working collaboratively to reach consensus• Feedback is a gift• Edit, then edit again• Proofreading with multiple people is valuable• Networking & building relationships• Work environment awareness• Working around others’ busy schedules• Speak up• When in doubt, ask…• Be prepared for the unexpected • Hard work does NOT go unnoticed • Simply say ‘thank you’
