Process for a Platinum Asset Discovery

Bank, Brokerage or POE Search The following is an illustration of the File TransferProtocol (FTP) process.

Should you have any questions regarding this processplease contact our office at 800 648-1914 ext. 901 andwe will be happy to review it with you.

• A Platinum Asset Discovery Search is a manual process and cannot be uploaded through the Seize Assets website.

You will need the following in order submit a search:

• An account on the Seize Assets secure FTP site..

• The required Platinum Asset Discovery Excel Spreadsheet that has been provided to you by Seize Assets and is to be used as formatted.

• Seize Assets will place two folders in your FTP account:

1. SEARCH FOLDER for uploading search files2. RESULTS FOLDER for retrieving result files

When you are uploading files to be searched, you willopen your SEARCH FOLDER, click the upload buttonand follow the instructions, pulling the file from where it

isstored on your computer into your FTP SEARCHFOLDER.

• It is VERY IMPORTANT to click on the button above the Upload Files button that says:“Send email notifications when this upload finishes” This will notify us that you placed a file in your SEARCH FOLDER.

You may also send an email to greg@seizeassets.com to let us know that a file is available to be searched.

• You will be notified by email that your results are available and to go to your FTP account to retrieve the results from your RESULTS FOLDER.
