SUNDAY SCHOOL

We've had lots of fun the past two weeks in Sunday School. Each week, we've been learning part of the

Easter story, and putting objects at the foot of the cross. Pastor Cindy did some Easter drama activities in

the Story Station with us, and we made cookies in the Cooking Station with Miss Janet. Thank you

teachers, and Jan Reney, for your enthusiastic prep and execution of some dynamite lessons!

This week, we're going to be making some very special Easter eggs with Miss Beth. We'll be talking

about the potential for new and exciting life that's contained in an EGG when it's nurtured and taken care

of -- just like there's potential for new and exciting life in our HEARTS when we welcome Jesus' love, and

let it grow and flourish in our lives.

Please put Palm Sunday, April 9, on your calendars! Children of all ages are welcome to process with

the palms at the beginning of the 9:00 Worship Service. We will also have a very special Sunday School

planned for that morning at 10:00, with a mini-Seder Dinner, tasting lots of symbolic Passover foods,

while explaining the Last Supper and what it would have meant to Jesus' first followers.

We're planning some really great Easter activities for students of all ages, so please join us at 10:00 on

Easter morning!

CALLING ALL SINGERS!

Dave and the choir invite you to sing with the choir on Easter Sunday (April 16th)! No

experience is necessary; we will learn the music together at our Thursday night rehearsals at 7pm

in the Chapel/Music Room. On Easter we will sing accompanied by a brass quintet and

timpanist, as well as our own Handbell Choir. What a wonderful way to celebrate the

Resurrection of our Lord! Please speak to Dave or any choir member; we would love to have

many voices lifted in joyful song!
