Who would you recommend this book to? Why?

What is a writing technique you would like to use in your own writing that you saw in this book? Give me an example and explain. Think character, setting, plot and dialogue. (For example-The author uses a lot of descriptive dialogue. One example is, “I told you not to run around in circles while your head is on fire,” his mom stated simply. I would like to use this style in my writing because the character is saying something crazy, but she is calm when she says it. I want to use this in my writing because I think it makes the character funny.)
